Chinese firms, Hu’nan Talkweb Information systems and Shenzhen Comtech, to use
their mobile visual optimization technology, individualized facial cartoon picture
technology and mobile picture technology. Microsoft Research Asia (MSR) has
developed these technologies. This is Microsoft’s first cooperation with
Chinese firms since the induction of its patent technology cooperation program in
2005.

Microsoft’s motive behind this move is to introduce the global enterprises to
